My professor/mentor always said “Art is communication. The more that you know about the subject of your artwork, the better you can illustrate (communicate) it to your intended viewer(s)”.

This goes double when you want to combine reality and fantasy in one piece.

Still, visual communication at it’s best is both visually stunning AND communicates well.

Which piece or pieces do you like best for their communication of thoughts or ideas?

Great collection here.

That huge bull, w/the muscles, that’s actually the real animal! I’ve seen a documentary of them, how they’re scientifically bred to have the BEST genes.
